Busy Life? Is scheduling time with a personal trainer difficult? Want workout independence but still need motivational support?

Fitness Phone Coaching, Excercise, Health, Lose Weight, Victoria, BC, Vancouver Island, CanadaTo maintain your fitness level, it is recommended that you workout at least three times per week. To increase fitness that number should increase to 4-5 times per week.

Life is busy, and a lot of people don’t have time to schedule and meet their personal trainer 3-5 times per week. Phone Coaching may be the answer to your fitness needs.

We schedule weekly phone conversations (20-30 minutes) in which we establish weekly goals, discuss the past week’s workouts with respect to what went well and what didn’t, and adjust the fitness program to meet your personalized weekly goals.

Phone coaching is for people who:

  1. don’t have time to meet with a personal trainer
  2. want to take responsibility for their own workouts
  3. would like weekly motivation from a fitness professional
  4. would like weekly feedback on their fitness goals and progress
  5. require constant adjustments to their workouts due to demanding schedules (e.g. business meetings, travel, etc.)

As a Phone Coach, we provide:

  1. A qualified fitness professional for weekly phone conversations
  2. Motivation along with weekly health and fitness tips
  3. Education with respect to your fitness program
  4. Development and evaluation of weekly goals
  5. Development of your weekly workout schedule
  6. Constant support without having to be at every workout
  7. Continuous program evaluation and adjustments with respect to your personal goals and weekly schedule

As a Phone Coaching Client, you are responsible for:

  1. committing to a 20-30 minute phone conversation per week
  2. writing down your weekly fitness goals
  3. keeping a log of all physical activity, including:
    • type of activity
    • duration of activity
    • intensity (heart rate monitor)
    • rating of perceived exertion
    • date and time of all workouts
  4. informing your Phone Coach of any injuries or health problems that may have occurred during the week
  5. asking questions, being honest and open to constant re-evaluation of personal fitness goals and program adjustments.
